This release introduces features like the availability of new international nonprofits as well as several security updates.

Internationalization

Approximately 46,000 German nonprofits added to the YourCause platform

YourCause + Blackbaud has partnered with Haus des Stiftens, a nonprofit social enterprise in Germany, to offer a processing partner for organizations based in Germany that want to join the Global Giving Network. As of early 2022, nearly 46,000 volunteer-only nonprofit organizations have been added to the platform and are now available in NPOconnect, GrantsConnect, and CSRconnect.

Giving

Disbursement to International nonprofits suspended if wire transfer fails

In the event that payment via wire transfer to an International nonprofit has failed, an email notification will be sent to the organization and disbursement will be suspended until an administrator provides the correct banking information. If this information has not been updated after 90 days, then the donations to be disbursed will no longer be available to the organization.

Other

Easily access a nonprofit’s public profile without logging in to NPOconnect

Users can now connect to a nonprofit organization’s public profile in NPOconnect without logging in to the platform. This new access point makes it easier for end-users to preview nonprofit profiles. It also allows Blackbaud systems (e.g., Blackbaud Commerce Platform) as well as external systems to which we provide nonprofit data to better integrate these profiles into their own applications.

To view a nonprofit organization’s public profile in NPOconnect, navigate to the URL below and replace {NonprofitID} with the organization’s unique Nonprofit ID.
