In this release, we have made several improvements to the NPOconnect Nonprofit Platform that Nonprofit Administrators and Nonprofit Support team members alike will find useful. This includes updates to the format in which Release Notes are shared, the availability of a new Email Log Report, enhancements to the Exclusion List of Nonprofits Report, changes to how an organization’s vetting status is displayed, and much more!
Release Notes Now Available in Help Desk
With this release, we have made updates to the way in which we deliver release notes through the NPOconnect application. Previously, these were made available as a PDF direct download. Beginning with this release, this resource will now open directly in the YourCause Nonprofit Help Desk.
More Information: What’s New in NPOconnect
New NPOconnect Email Log Report
The new Email Log Report is now available! This report allows for us to better support our clients by providing detailed information about the communications they receive. The Nonprofit Support Team will be able to view the date an email was sent, who sent it, and the subject used for all emails distributed. Emails can also be previewed within NPOconnect, as shown below.
This report is only available to the Nonprofit Support Team and is not visible to Nonprofit Administrators themselves.
This log also reports if an email has been successfully sent to NPOconnect’s email servers with a Sent status of Yes or Failed. It is important to note that this does not indicate that it was delivered to or opened by the recipient. However, this functionality is planned for future iterations of this report.
Vetting Request Status Now Shown in Administration Area
To help our users more easily track vetting requests, the organization’s eligibility status will now appear on the Vetting Documentation tile in the Administration area. In particular, this status update includes a notice if more information is required to finalize the vetting process.
An example is shown below.
Account Specific Details Now In Disbursement Information Summary
We have revised the language in the Disbursement Information Summary to better reflect individual scenarios involving the delivery of charitable funds. This applies to both US-based and International nonprofits. Messaging will be based on the organization’s location, status as a parent or chapter, and the availability of a processing partner.
An example of this is shown below.
All Transactions Display Now Shows Service Fees - In this release, we have updated how the Received Amount and Transaction Amount are displayed when viewing All Transactions. This change includes showing any service fees applied.
